The unit capacitor system is totally dependent on a capacitor type motor which forces the coolant to move through the coil system. Some other basic parts of the cooling system include switches, thermostats, condensers, and fans.

If it does, then it is located at the top of the motor. As we all know, capacitors store electricity, even without electricity or when the power is off.

The unit’s efficiency sharply drops when a refrigerator gasket, a rubber that is sealed around the door, becomes hard with the passage of time. In order to test it, place a dollar bill in between the gasket and door, and then close it.
After some time, pull the bill out. If it offers some sort of resistance, then it means the seal is working properly, but if the bill falls out, then the gasket should be changed immediately.
Many problems are also solved by servicing the defrost timer. If a compressor isn’t working, then it means that the timer is malfunctioning. To test it, one needs to unplug the refrigerator first, then disconnect the wires from the defrost timer and the motor and then safely remove the timer. Similarly, one can place the new timer by following the above-mentioned procedure.
